Although Dalits are proud to see other castes gradually being educated and returning to Kolte, they are worried day and night that their caste is not always the same (Musahar).<\/p>\n
Asiya, a mother of two sons and three daughters and a grandmother of eight grandchildren, is worried about not being able to educate her grandchildren more than her children.<\/p>\n
Although her grandchildren were initially enrolled in school, they were unable to attend school. Since there has been no change in the condition of the grandchildren, will they return to the community with access to education or not? He is worried about this .She said, “If we don’t do it according to the demands of the time, we will suffer.” Individuals, families and society are lagging behind. In the same place, 60-year-old Kagati Devi Sada has 12 children of 3 sons. He has 8 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One of the sons of Mahilo is studying higher education after passing SEE. He is one of the four students of his caste who have passed the SEE in the ward.”Nobody’s financial situation is good,” says Kagati. There is no reading environment. And how do children read? ‘The Musahar community does not have a definite profession. Nor do they have any skills. Their only belief is that they should eat for wages.According to Kagti, after the husband and wife were forced to work for two meals a day, the children in the house had to look after their siblings and take care of the household.Only four out of 110 Musahars in the ward have passed the SEE. Other children do not go to school. About 400 children out of 110 families are deprived of education.<\/p>\n

Bhulu Devi, 50, of the same place, said that she did not go to school even though some of them were enrolled in the school.She added, \u2018The biggest problem of our race is alcohol. Alcohol is an obstacle to the all-round development of our caste. How can I raise my children after my husband spends all day’s money in the evening distillery, and why keep them at home for twenty years without getting married? ‘There are 110 Musahar families in the ward. Most of them are squatters. Nepu Sada, a 45-year-old local, said that even though she has been living on someone else’s land, she is not able to get a house and two meals a day.Nepu is saddened that this community has not been able to rise due to the belief that the men of this community earn and eat after birth due to lack of consciousness.She said, “You don’t have to go anywhere to drink alcohol. The men go to the shops in the community and earn money in the evening.Women also go and work in the brick kiln next door for their livelihood. There is also discrimination. “Women get only 300 rupees a day while men get 500 rupees a day,” said a local.”It simply came to our notice then. The school is closed. The closure has not made any difference to the children and parents here, ‘said Asiya Devi Sada in this regard. Although Corona has had no effect on education in our settlement, it has certainly had an impact on earning a living. ‘Kamali Sada, a 60-year-old local, added, “It’s been almost five decades since we got married.
